At today's Passion for Prime sale, Carlog Cattle Co. secured four female-sexed fullblood pregnancies — a deliberate move to bring fresh outcross blood into the herd. All four are due October 15, 2026, carried by Angus recips and consigned by Lone Mountain Cattle Co.

Infinity Dream Maker 5M × LMR Ms Samu 4739M The headline cross: Dream Maker's Top 1% genetics over an elite Samurai donor dam averaging 33.6% daily marbling potential.

TBR Shogun 7704K × LMR Ms L10 3761L A proven Top 100 BFI sire over a Mayura L0010 dam averaging 35.3% daily marbling potential — depth and consistency from an established foundation line.
  • 500Proj. BFI
Gateway F154 Gatekeeper S0024 × LMR Ms United 4619M Michifuku carcass merit over a United P0342 dam — 3.7 marble score and 12.3 ribeye in the sire, an exceptionally balanced genomic profile.
  • 480Proj. BFI
Infinity Dream Maker 5M × LMR Ms N4431 1800J A second Dream Maker pregnancy out of the storied Iowa Dream line, adding Sunnyside Q0540 blood new to the Carlog program.

Each pairing was chosen for what it brings the herd, not just its index. The two Dream Maker pregnancies introduce Sunnyside Q0540 blood out of the celebrated Iowa Dream line — a young sire rare in ranking Top 1% across every index — while the Gatekeeper pregnancy layers deep Michifuku carcass merit over an Arubial United P0342 dam, and TBR Shogun 7704K, a genomic powerhouse among the world's Top 100 BFI sires, adds proven depth over a Mayura L0010 dam line.

Together they introduce four bloodlines — Q540, Dream Maker, Gatekeeper, and Shogun — that strengthen the genetic diversity behind every Carlog animal. Calf photos and full genomic profiles will follow once the heifers are on the ground this fall.

Photographs shown are the sires of each pregnancy. All four are female-sexed fullblood pregnancies carried by Angus recips, purchased from Lone Mountain Cattle Co. at Passion for Prime 2026.
